Refund & Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellations

You may request cancellation of an order at no charge as long as it has not yet been shipped. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order with your order details.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled; you may instead refer to the return options below once you receive it.

Returns

As each order is printed and packed specifically against your purchase, we are only able to accept a return in the following situations:

• You received the wrong book or edition
• The book arrived damaged, defective, or with missing/misprinted pages
• The quantity received does not match your order

To request a return under these circumstances, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photographs of the issue. We do not accept returns for reasons of personal preference (for example, simply changing your mind) once an order has been dispatched.

Refunds

Once a cancellation or a valid return request is approved:

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout via Razorpay.
• Approved refunds are initiated within 3–5 business days of approval.
• Once initiated, it typically takes a further 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
• Where applicable, we may offer a replacement copy instead of a refund; this will always be your choice to make.

Non-Refundable Situations

• Orders that have already been delivered in good condition and as described
• Delay caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the buyer
• Requests made after the 7-day return window from delivery

Manuscript and Publishing Service Payments

Where an author has separately engaged Blackdot Publication for paid publishing services (such as editing, design, or printing), refund terms for that engagement will be as agreed in writing between the author and Blackdot Publication at the time of engagement, since work often begins immediately upon confirmation.
